CLLCTVE is a social career platform with plans to deepen their community through additional features. My team was tasked with designing the community features within the website including post interaction, discussions, and events.
TOOLS: Figma, Miro, Maze, Zoom, Slack, G Suite
SKILLS: User Interviews, User Personas, User Flows, C&C Analysis, Site Mapping, Wireframing, Usability Testing, Prototyping
To deepen our collective understanding of this challenge, we employed various qualitative and quantitative research techniques as well as an evaluation of the functions of the current site and usability. This helped validate our design.
After each phase of research was completed, my team and I designed potential solutions through the insights gathered from our research. This saw the creation of various personas representing the user journeys that correlate to the features that CLLCTVE wishes to include in their platform
The next step was to design according to our completed research. With a focus on making the design accessible and appealing we created several iterations and played with various designs before we decided what to land on.
Once the first prototype was ready, we decided to run rounds of usability testing with users performing various tasks via Maze in addition to an interview regarding their experience. The results of both artifacts allowed us to take note of shortcomings to keep informing our design decisions.
